Additional Training or Seminars. We also will conduct ongoing education courses, seminars or conferences either online, at our corporate office, in your area or elsewhere, although we have the right to determine if and when these courses may be offered, as well as their duration and content. You must also pay your costs of transportation, lodging, meals and other expenses. Your attendance at these courses is voluntary. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Christies International Real Estate's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, additional training and seminars are offered. Christies International Real Estate will conduct ongoing education courses, seminars, or conferences either online, at their corporate office, in the franchisee's area, or elsewhere. The franchisor determines if and when these courses may be offered, as well as their duration and content.
Attendance at these additional training courses is voluntary. Franchisees must pay any fees charged, according to the then-current schedule of charges, which can vary over time. Currently, the fee is $500 per day per attendee. Franchisees must also pay their costs of transportation, lodging, meals, and other expenses. Christies International Real Estate also intends to provide programs through its learning platform, which they encourage franchisees and their independent sales associates to complete. They may also make available online learning materials for use.
In addition to optional training, Christies International Real Estate requires that franchisees attend any annual conference or conference that they sponsor or designate. Franchisees must pay the then-current Annual Conference Fee and are responsible for all travel and living expenses. If a franchisee fails to attend the annual conference without prior written consent, they must pay the then-current fee for two people for failing to attend the conference. The Operations Manual Table of Contents also lists "@academy: Coaching and Training", indicating further resources available to franchisees.
