What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate Franchise Disclosure Document, the frequency of royalty fee payments is tied to the advertising fund fee. Currently, Christies International Real Estate does not have an advertising fund fee in place. However, if Christies International Real Estate implements an advertising fund fee in the future, franchisees will be required to pay the royalty fee in the same manner and at the same time as the advertising fund fee.
This means that the royalty fee payment schedule is contingent upon the implementation of the advertising fund fee. If Christies International Real Estate decides to implement this fee, they will provide written notice to franchisees, and the royalty fee payment schedule will then align with the advertising fund fee payment schedule.
Prospective franchisees should inquire about the typical payment schedule for the advertising fund fee, as this will determine how often they will need to pay royalty fees if the advertising fund is implemented. Understanding this potential future obligation is crucial for financial planning and budgeting as a Christies International Real Estate franchisee.
