What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate Franchise Disclosure Document, if you wish to relocate your Main Office and/or an Additional Office, you must first obtain prior written consent from Christies International Real Estate, which will not be unreasonably withheld. The new location must comply with all applicable provisions within the Franchise Agreement and adhere to Christies International Real Estate's then-current specifications and standards for businesses.
If the relocation is due to unforeseen circumstances such as destruction, condemnation, or the office becoming untenantable due to fire, flood, or other casualty, you are required to reopen the replacement office within 90 days after discontinuing operations at the prior location. This ensures business continuity and minimizes disruption.
Christies International Real Estate requires written notification before you enter into any binding agreement to lease, purchase, or otherwise occupy an Additional Office. Christies International Real Estate retains the right to reject the location of your anticipated Additional Office. This process ensures that any new location aligns with the brand's standards and strategic objectives.
