What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, franchisees are responsible for the day-to-day operation of their business to preserve and protect the Christies International Real Estate brand and Marks. This includes maintaining good customer relations, providing competent and courteous service, and complying with all operational standards outlined in the Operations Manual.
As an independent business owner, the franchisee has substantial control over all phases of their business. This includes management, personnel, and training requirements, which are at the franchisee's discretion and responsibility. The franchisee must also ensure that their business operates in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
While the FDD excerpt specifies the franchisee's overall responsibility for day-to-day operations and adherence to brand standards, it does not explicitly detail specific requirements for office cleanliness and maintenance. For a comprehensive understanding of these specific obligations, a prospective franchisee should consult the Christies International Real Estate Operations Manual and seek clarification from the franchisor regarding expectations for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the office.
