What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, franchisees are required to operate under the trade name or DBA "CHRISTIE'S INTERNATIONAL REAL ESTATE" with a suffix or prefix that uniquely identifies their office, as approved by Christies International Real Estate, before opening their business. This is the Trade Name under which the franchisee must operate. The franchisee's Trade Name must be displayed according to the Operations Manual and Brand Guidelines.

The franchisee cannot change their Trade Name without prior written consent from Christies International Real Estate. While franchisees cannot use the Christies International Real Estate marks in the name of their business entity (e.g., partnership, corporation, or LLC), they are specifically required to use the approved Trade Name for their real estate business operations.

These regulations ensure brand consistency and prevent franchisees from misrepresenting their business identity. It also allows Christies International Real Estate to maintain control over its brand and how it is presented to the public. Franchisees must adhere to these naming conventions and display requirements to remain in compliance with the franchise agreement.
