What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, franchisees must adhere to the brand's standards in their local advertising and promotions. Specifically, all advertising and promotions must conform to the Operations Manual, including the Brand Guidelines. Christies International Real Estate may require franchisees to use their advertising templates or materials as outlined in the Operations Manual or as otherwise approved in writing.

Christies International Real Estate retains the right to ensure brand consistency and compliance. If a franchisee uses or develops their own marketing materials, Christies International Real Estate, in its sole discretion, can require the franchisee to remove any marketing materials or advertising that do not comply with the Operations Manual, Brand Guidelines, or any laws.

This level of control is typical in franchising to maintain a consistent brand image and protect the brand's reputation. While franchisees have some autonomy in local advertising, they must adhere to the franchisor's standards and guidelines. This ensures that all marketing efforts align with the overall brand strategy and comply with legal requirements.
