What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, the determination of a business's photography needs for its website is a collaborative effort between the franchisee and Christies International Real Estate. The FDD specifies that Christies International Real Estate will develop content for the website in conjunction with the franchisee. As part of this process, the specific photography requirements are established.

This collaborative approach ensures that the visual content aligns with the brand standards of Christies International Real Estate while also catering to the unique aspects of the franchisee's local market. The franchisee is required to use an approved, professional photographer or videographer to capture the imagery. Once the photos are taken, the franchisee will then license access to the photos and grant a license to Christies International Real Estate to use them.

The franchisee is responsible for covering all website hosting and related fees, regardless of whether these fees are incurred directly by the franchisee or by Christies International Real Estate on behalf of the franchisee's business. This arrangement highlights the importance of maintaining a high-quality, visually appealing website that meets the brand's standards, with the franchisee bearing the financial responsibility for its upkeep.
