What This Means (2025 FDD)

Based on the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, the franchise agreement outlines specific training requirements for certain personnel within a franchisee's office. Christies International Real Estate has the right to require the Responsible Broker, Office Broker, Marketing Director, and Agent Support Director for both the Main Office and any Additional Offices to attend and successfully complete their initial training program. This training covers the operation of the business, brand guidelines, and systems, and will be held at a location and time designated by Christies International Real Estate.

While there is no training fee for these designated individuals (referred to as "Trainees"), the franchisee is responsible for covering their compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses during the training. Christies International Real Estate also reserves the right to require additional individuals to attend the initial training, but in this case, the franchisee would be responsible for paying the then-current initial training fee for those individuals. Furthermore, Christies International Real Estate has the authority to determine whether an individual has successfully completed the training and can require them to repeat the course if necessary.

In addition to initial training, Christies International Real Estate may also require ongoing training for the Trainees or other individuals from time to time. The franchisee remains responsible for the compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses associated with any such ongoing training. Christies International Real Estate also reserves the right to charge a reasonable fee for any ongoing training programs they offer. Failure to complete the initial training program to Christies International Real Estate's satisfaction can be grounds for termination of the franchise agreement.
