What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate FDD, the franchise has the right to require specific personnel to attend and complete their initial training program. These individuals, referred to as "Trainees," include the Designated Owner, Office Broker, Marketing Director, and Training/Agent Support Director of both the Main and Additional Offices.

Christies International Real Estate does not charge for these Trainees to attend the initial training. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all associated costs, such as travel, lodging, transportation, meal expenses, and the wages of their employees while they attend the training. The successful completion of the initial training program by these Trainees is mandatory before the franchisee can officially open their Christies International Real Estate business.

Christies International Real Estate also reserves the right to mandate that additional personnel attend the initial training program. In such cases, the franchisee would be responsible for paying the then-current additional training fee, which is currently $500 per day per attendee. After the initial training, Christies International Real Estate will notify the franchisee if they have successfully completed the course.
