We will not charge a training fee for your Trainees to attend our initial training program.

We reserve the right to require any additional individuals to attend our initial training, at our then-current initial training fee.

You are solely responsible for the compensation, travel, lodging and living expenses incurred by your Trainees and any required additional individuals in attending the initial training program and any additional trainings required.

We have the right to determine whether a person has or has not successfully completed training and to require your Trainees or additional individuals to repeat the course.

Failure to complete to our satisfaction the initial training program in accordance with our standards constitutes grounds for termination, as provided in Section 10.2(a) of this Agreement.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate Franchise Disclosure Document, Christies International Real Estate does not charge a training fee for the initial training program. The initial training program is mandatory for the Responsible Broker, Office Broker, Marketing Director, and Agent Support Director for the Main Office and each Additional Office, collectively referred to as "Trainees." This training covers the operation of a Christies International Real Estate business, Brand Guidelines, and Systems. The training will be held at a location and time designated by Christies International Real Estate.

While Christies International Real Estate does not charge a training fee for the initial training program for the specified personnel, the franchisee is responsible for covering the costs associated with compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses for the trainees attending the initial training. Christies International Real Estate retains the right to mandate additional individuals to attend the initial training, but a training fee may be charged for these additional attendees.

Christies International Real Estate also requires ongoing training for the franchisee's personnel, and while they reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for this ongoing training, the franchisee will be responsible for the compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses incurred by their personnel for these additional training sessions. Failure to complete the initial training program to Christies International Real Estate's satisfaction can result in termination of the franchise agreement.
