What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Christies International Real Estate Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Licensor' refers to Christie's International Real Estate, LLC. This is clarified within the Affiliate Disclosure Questionnaire, which is designed to ensure prospective franchisees understand the terms and risks associated with the franchise agreement.

The questionnaire aims to confirm that no unauthorized promises have been made to the franchisee and that they are fully aware of their obligations and the information provided by Christies International Real Estate. It also serves to document that Christies International Real Estate has met its legal obligations in providing necessary disclosures.

Prospective franchisees in California, Maryland, and Washington have specific instructions regarding the questionnaire. California franchisees are not required to sign it, while Maryland and Washington franchisees should not sign if they are residents of those states or if the franchised business will be located there. This suggests that there may be state-specific regulations or considerations that Christies International Real Estate needs to address in these locations.
