- Seventy-five (75) hours of the training described above will be provided at the location of the franchise business. The number of hours of each category that will be provided at the different locations will vary depending on the needs of the specific individuals receiving the training. CBAC will make this determination on a case-by-case basis. You will be required to pay all travel and living expenses for you and for any of your employees who attend any of the initial training.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will receive 75 hours of training at the location of their franchise business. This on-site training occurs one and a half weeks prior to the projected business open date.
The FDD specifies that the number of hours in each training category may vary based on the individual needs of the franchisee. Christian Brothers Automotive determines this on a case-by-case basis. Franchisees are responsible for covering all travel and living expenses for themselves and their employees during this initial training period.
In addition to the 75 hours of training at the franchise location, new Principal Operators must complete 60 hours of online training, a two-week (65 hours) training program at the corporate offices in Houston, Texas, a four-week (230 hours) training program at a Certified Training Location (CTL) franchise, and a two-week (115 hours) training program at a franchise operated by a Certified Field Trainer (CFT). The Service Manager must also complete a one-week (33 hours) training program at the corporate office.
