What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise Agreement, franchisees must offer and sell all services and products that are part of the Christian Brothers Automotive system, as it may be updated. Franchisees are specifically not allowed to offer or sell any service or product that is not part of the Christian Brothers Automotive system.
This means a Christian Brothers Automotive franchisee's business is limited to only those goods and services that the franchisor has approved and included as part of the franchise system. A franchisee cannot independently decide to offer additional, non-approved services or products. This standardization helps maintain brand consistency across all franchise locations.
This requirement ensures that all Christian Brothers Automotive locations provide a uniform experience and maintain the brand's standards. While it limits a franchisee's autonomy to introduce new offerings, it also provides a proven and consistent business model. Prospective franchisees should carefully evaluate whether this level of standardization aligns with their entrepreneurial preferences.
