What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Christian Brothers Automotive Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must offer and sell all services and products that are part of the Christian Brothers Automotive system, as it may be amended or supplemented. Franchisees are specifically prohibited from offering or selling any service or product that is not part of the Christian Brothers Automotive system. This means Christian Brothers Automotive has the right to modify the services and products franchisees must offer.
This requirement allows Christian Brothers Automotive to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. It also enables Christian Brothers Automotive to adapt to changing market demands and introduce new services or products that benefit the entire franchise system.
For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to adapt their service offerings as directed by Christian Brothers Automotive. While franchisees cannot offer services or products outside the system, Christian Brothers Automotive agrees to review any alternative supplier or product requested by Franchisee and determine whether Franchisee may use such supplier or product in lieu of the Franchisor designated supplier or product.
Christian Brothers Automotive also retains the right to modify the specifications for all equipment and supplies and qualifications for all service providers from time to time in its sole and exclusive discretion. Franchisees must also obtain and keep in good standing all necessary licenses, permits or other required forms of governmental approval required of Franchisee to offer and sell those products and services which are part of the System or which may, in the future, be made a part of the System.
