What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the training fee is due 10 days after the invoice date. The training fee can be up to $500 per person per day, plus travel expenses for onsite training.
This fee is payable for each person who attends initial training after opening, such as a new Operating Partner or manager. It also applies to repeat training after a failed prior attempt, refresher or supplemental training, remedial training, or any additional training requested by the franchisee.
In addition to the per-person, per-day fee, franchisees must also reimburse Chop5 Salad Kitchen for travel expenses incurred for training conducted onsite at the franchisee's restaurant. This means franchisees should budget not only for the training fee itself but also for potential travel-related costs if onsite training is required.
