During the operation of your Restaurant, we will:

    1. Provide our guidance and recommendations to improve the operation of your Restaurant. (§6.2)
    1. Provide periodic training programs, as discussed below under "Training Program". (§5.3)
    1. Maintain a corporate website to promote our brand and a local webpage to promote your Restaurant, as discussed below under "Advertising and Marketing". (§6.6)
    1. Establish and implement the Brand Fund, as discussed below under "Advertising and Marketing". (§10.1)
    1. Provide you with our corporate retail pricing model, which has not been adapted for local market conditions. You may deviate from our corporate retail pricing at your discretion. However, in the future we may require you to obtain our approval of any deviation more than 10% higher or lower than our corporate retail pricing, unless the pricing is part of a temporary advertising campaign we approved. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may set maximum or minimum prices on the goods and services you sell. (§11.6)

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, they do provide periodic training programs. During the operation of the restaurant, Chop5 Salad Kitchen will provide periodic training programs, as discussed in the document under the "Training Program" section.

Chop5 Salad Kitchen may also require that the Operating Partner and managers attend system-wide refresher or supplemental training courses from time to time. If a new Operating Partner or manager is appointed, they must successfully complete the initial training program before assuming management responsibilities. Additionally, if Chop5 Salad Kitchen inspects a restaurant and finds it is not operating in compliance with the Franchise Agreement or the Manual, they may require the Operating Partner and managers to attend remedial training to address the identified operational deficiencies. Franchisees can also request additional training, which Chop5 Salad Kitchen is not obligated to provide, either at the corporate headquarters or at the franchisee's restaurant.

For any additional training programs, Chop5 Salad Kitchen may charge an additional training fee of up to $500 per person per day for each person who attends a system-wide refresher or supplemental training program or attends remedial training required due to operational deficiencies.
