What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Chop5 Salad Kitchen FDD, Chop5 Salad Kitchen is not obligated to conduct periodic field visits to the franchisee's restaurant. While Chop5 Salad Kitchen has the right to conduct these visits for the purpose of providing on-site consultation, assistance, and guidance regarding the restaurant's operation and management, it is not a requirement.

Following a field visit, Chop5 Salad Kitchen may provide a report detailing any problems or concerns observed, along with suggested changes or improvements. The franchisee is then required to implement all corrective measures within the timeframe and manner specified by Chop5 Salad Kitchen.

This discretionary approach to field visits means that franchisees may not receive regular, standardized support from Chop5 Salad Kitchen. While this could provide more autonomy for some franchisees, others might miss the consistent oversight and guidance that mandatory field visits would provide. Prospective franchisees should consider this when evaluating the level of support they desire from the franchisor.
