Does Chop5 Salad Kitchen maintain a local webpage to promote my Chop5 Salad Kitchen Restaurant?

We will maintain a corporate website to promote our brand. We will also create and host a local webpage to promote your Restaurant, which will be linked to our corporate website. Your webpage will list certain information about your Restaurant, such as address, hours of operation and contact information. We can modify or discontinue our website and/or your local webpage at any time.
Except for the webpage we provide, you may not (a) develop, host, or otherwise maintain a website or other digital presence relating to your Restaurant (including any website bearing any of our Marks); (b) utilize the Internet to conduct digital or online advertising; or (c) engage in ecommerce. However, we do permit you to market your Restaurant through approved social media channels, subject to the following requirements:
- you may only conduct social media utilizing the social media platforms that we approve
- you must strictly comply with our social media policy, as revised from time to time
- you must immediately remove any post we disapprove, even if it complies with our social media policy
- we may require that you contract with and utilize a social media company we designate
- you must provide us with full administrative rights to your social media accounts
- we must retain ownership of all social media accounts relating to your Restaurant

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chop5 Salad Kitchen will maintain a corporate website to promote their brand and will also create and host a local webpage to promote your Chop5 Salad Kitchen Restaurant. This local webpage will be linked to the corporate website and will include information such as the restaurant's address, hours of operation, and contact information. However, Chop5 Salad Kitchen can modify or discontinue the website and/or local webpage at any time.
Aside from the webpage that Chop5 Salad Kitchen provides, franchisees are not allowed to develop, host, or maintain their own website or digital presence related to their restaurant, including websites bearing Chop5 Salad Kitchen's marks. Franchisees also cannot use the internet for digital or online advertising or engage in e-commerce. However, franchisees are permitted to market their Chop5 Salad Kitchen Restaurant through approved social media channels, provided they adhere to specific requirements.
These requirements include using only approved social media platforms, strictly complying with Chop5 Salad Kitchen's social media policy, and immediately removing any disapproved posts, even if they comply with the social media policy. Chop5 Salad Kitchen may also require franchisees to contract with a designated social media company and must be granted full administrative rights to all social media accounts related to the restaurant. Chop5 Salad Kitchen retains ownership of all social media accounts pertaining to the Chop5 Salad Kitchen Restaurant.
