Training Fees and Costs
We provide our pre-opening initial training program in exchange for the $5,000 initial training fee. We may charge you an additional training fee of up to $500 per person per day for each person who:
- attends initial training after opening, such as a new Operating Partner or manager
- attends a system-wide refresher or supplemental training program
- retakes training after failing a prior attempt
- attends remedial training we require due to your operational deficiencies
- attends additional training requested by you
If we agree to provide onsite training or assistance at your Restaurant, you must also reimburse us for all Travel Expenses we incur. You are responsible for all wages and Travel Expenses your trainees incur for training.

According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial training fee is $5,000. This fee covers the pre-opening initial training program. However, Chop5 Salad Kitchen may charge an additional training fee of up to $500 per person per day under certain circumstances.
These circumstances include instances where individuals attend initial training after the restaurant has already opened, such as a new Operating Partner or manager. If Chop5 Salad Kitchen agrees to provide onsite training or assistance at the franchisee's restaurant location, the franchisee must also reimburse Chop5 Salad Kitchen for all travel expenses incurred by the franchisor. This means that the total cost of training can vary significantly depending on the number of staff members trained, the need for additional training, and the location of the training.
