When must a Chop5 Salad Kitchen franchisee sign the Initial Franchise Agreement for their first restaurant?

According to the 2024 Chop5 Salad Kitchen Franchise Disclosure Document, if you are developing multiple restaurants under an Area Development Agreement, you must sign the Initial Franchise Agreement for your first restaurant at the same time you sign the Area Development Agreement. This agreement outlines the development schedule, site selection, and other obligations for opening multiple Chop5 Salad Kitchen locations.

This requirement ensures that Chop5 Salad Kitchen can begin the site selection process for your first restaurant. The franchisor will not review any proposed sites until the Initial Franchise Agreement is signed. This indicates that signing the agreement is a prerequisite for receiving site selection assistance from Chop5 Salad Kitchen.

It's important to note that each subsequent restaurant you develop will require a separate Franchise Agreement, which may have different terms than the initial one.
