According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if an inspection reveals non-compliance issues, the franchisee must take all actions specified by Chop5 Salad Kitchen within the period of time they prescribe. Chop5 Salad Kitchen may conduct periodic inspections of the restaurant for quality control purposes, addressing issues like customer service, food safety, sanitation, and inventory rotation. If a Chop5 Salad Kitchen franchisee fails to comply with standards or operating procedures, including submitting required reports on time, and does not correct the non-compliance within the prescribed time, Chop5 Salad Kitchen may impose a noncompliance fee of up to $500 per occurrence. An additional $500 fee may be imposed every 48 hours if the issue remains unresolved after the initial fee. These fees are collected in consideration of Chop5 Salad Kitchen refraining from terminating the Franchise Agreement.
