What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, when reviewing proposed sites, Chop5 Salad Kitchen considers several factors. These include parking availability, the visibility, size, condition, and characteristics of the building, and traffic counts. The franchisor also takes into account the general location, the existence and location of competitive businesses, the general character of the neighborhood, local demographic information, and various economic indicators.

Chop5 Salad Kitchen aims to approve or disapprove proposed sites within 30 days after receiving all necessary materials. If the franchisor fails to issue a written approval within this 30-day period, the site is considered disapproved. If the site is approved before the franchise agreement is signed, the address will be listed in Part D of ATTACHMENT "A" to the Franchise Agreement. Otherwise, a Site Approval Notice, as ATTACHMENT "B" to the Franchise Agreement, will be sent within 15 days of approval, listing the approved site's address.

Prospective franchisees should note that Chop5 Salad Kitchen does not select the site for the Restaurant. The franchisee must contract with Chop5 Salad Kitchen's designated Real Estate Company to assist in finding suitable sites, but the franchisee retains ultimate responsibility for finding the approved site. The site must be within the Site Selection Area identified in Part C of ATTACHMENT "A" to the Franchise Agreement and conform to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's minimum site selection criteria. The franchisee must also submit a complete site report with all required information about the proposed site.
