What is the due date for Chop5 Salad Kitchen's System Program fees?

According to Chop5 Salad Kitchen's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the System Program fees are due 10 days after the invoice date or as otherwise specified. Currently, Chop5 Salad Kitchen is not charging this fee, but if implemented, franchisees must participate in any customer loyalty and/or gift card program that Chop5 Salad Kitchen establishes. Franchisees will also be responsible for paying all associated program contributions and fees required to implement and administer these programs. These payments will be made either to Chop5 Salad Kitchen or to a third party designated by them.

It is important to note that the due date can vary depending on what is specified in the invoice. This means that while the standard is 10 days, Chop5 Salad Kitchen reserves the right to alter the due date. As such, franchisees need to carefully review each invoice to ensure timely payment and avoid late fees or other penalties.

While the System Program fee is not currently being charged, Chop5 Salad Kitchen retains the right to implement it in the future. This fee is separate from other fees such as the Brand Fund fee, local advertising commitment, and cooperative advertising fee, though the maximum total amount that Chop5 Salad Kitchen may charge at any given time for the brand fund fee, Local Advertising Commitment and Cooperative Advertising Fee is capped at 8.5%.
