What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash Franchise Disclosure Document, the Leased Premises must be used solely for the operation of a Chocolate Bash business or under any other name authorized by the franchisor. This means a franchisee cannot conduct any other type of business from the Chocolate Bash location.
Chocolate Bash also maintains strict control over the franchisee's activities at the location. Franchisees are prohibited from engaging in any activity other than operating the Chocolate Bash business. This restriction ensures that the franchisee focuses exclusively on the Chocolate Bash brand and does not dilute the business with other ventures.
Furthermore, Chocolate Bash prohibits franchisees from co-branding or associating any other business activity with the Chocolate Bash business in a way that could confuse the public. This restriction is in place to maintain the brand's identity and prevent any misperceptions about related business ventures. If the franchisee is an entity, it is restricted from owning or operating any other business except for other Chocolate Bash franchises. This ensures the franchisee's complete dedication to the Chocolate Bash system.
