What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash FDD, Chocolate Bash will provide franchisees with suggested guidelines for hiring employees. These guidelines are referenced in Section 5.2 of the FDD. Chocolate Bash also provides suggested staffing levels, also found in Section 5.2.
In addition to hiring guidelines, Chocolate Bash provides operational instructions in the Manual, which franchisees can use as part of training new employees.
However, the FDD stipulates that all hiring decisions and conditions of employment are the sole responsibility of the franchisee. This means that while Chocolate Bash offers guidance, the franchisee is ultimately responsible for all employment-related matters and liable for any related issues.
