Does Chocolate Bash provide standard recommended floor plans for the premises?

According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash FDD, Chocolate Bash will provide a set of standard building plans and specifications, standard recommended floor plans, and specifications for required décor to the franchisee for constructing, remodeling, or decorating the premises.

Before opening a Chocolate Bash franchise, the franchisee is responsible for finding a suitable location. Chocolate Bash will review and advise on potential locations submitted by the franchisee. The franchisor does not select the site, but the site is subject to their approval. Chocolate Bash will consider factors such as general location, competition, trade area demographics, traffic patterns, parking, size, physical characteristics of existing buildings, and lease terms when approving sites.

The franchisee is responsible for conforming the premises to local ordinances and building codes and obtaining required permits. The franchisee has a limited time of 30 days for Chocolate Bash to approve or disapprove a proposed site after submitting all required documents and information. Failure to agree on a site may result in the franchisee being unable to meet the opening deadline, potentially leading to default and termination of the franchise agreement unless an extension is granted.
