According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash Franchise Disclosure Document, the Location Acceptance Letter does define the territory of the business. The document specifies that when Chocolate Bash accepts a franchisee's proposed location, it will issue a Location Acceptance Letter. This letter will state both the location and the territory granted to the franchisee. Chocolate Bash determines the territory in its good faith discretion, substantially in accordance with Item 12 of the Franchise Disclosure Document.

This is important for prospective franchisees because it clarifies how their exclusive operating area is officially defined. The territory defines the geographic area where Chocolate Bash will not establish or license another Chocolate Bash business, offering some protection to the franchisee.
