What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial franchise fee of $45,000 does not include specialty dine-in plates. However, franchisees are required to purchase an initial inventory package from Chocolate Bash, which ranges from $8,000 to $12,000. This package includes specialty dine-in plates, along with other essential items.

This means that while the upfront franchise fee covers the right to operate under the Chocolate Bash brand, franchisees must also budget for the mandatory initial inventory purchase. This ensures that new Chocolate Bash locations are equipped with the necessary supplies and branded items to maintain consistency and quality.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the full scope of initial investments beyond just the franchise fee. The cost of specialty dine-in plates and other inventory items should be factored into the overall financial planning. It is also important to note that the initial franchise fee is uniform and non-refundable.
