What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Chocolate Bash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor offers initial training, and up to three people can attend this training at no cost, though the franchisee is responsible for travel and living expenses. The franchisee themselves must attend the training.

Beyond the initial three attendees, the franchisee can send additional people to the training program. However, if a new general manager needs to attend the training program, Chocolate Bash charges a fee, which is currently $150 per day.

While Chocolate Bash does not currently require additional training programs or refresher courses, they retain the right to implement them in the future. This policy allows flexibility for franchisees to train additional staff, but it's important to factor in potential costs for general manager training and the possibility of future mandatory training programs.
