What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee is granted the right to operate a Chocolate Bash business solely at the Location specified in the Franchise Agreement. The agreement emphasizes the importance of the designated location, stating that the franchisee must develop, open, and operate the Chocolate Bash business at this location for the entire term of the agreement.

If the specific location isn't identified when the agreement is initially signed, Chocolate Bash and the franchisee will later determine the location together. This determination will be made according to a specific section outlined in the agreement. This highlights the significance of having a clearly defined and agreed-upon location for the Chocolate Bash franchise to operate effectively.

Furthermore, the agreement stipulates that the franchisee is restricted from engaging in any activity at the Location other than the operation of the Chocolate Bash Business. This clause ensures that the franchisee's focus remains exclusively on the Chocolate Bash business at the approved site, preventing any potential conflicts or distractions from other ventures. This restriction is typical in franchising to maintain brand consistency and operational focus.
