What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chocolate Bash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the definition of 'System Standards' does include cleanliness. This means that franchisees must adhere to the cleanliness standards set by Chocolate Bash. These standards are part of the mandatory procedures, requirements, and standards that Chocolate Bash determines for the entire franchise system.
For a prospective franchisee, this implies that maintaining a clean and sanitary environment is not just a best practice, but a requirement for operating a Chocolate Bash franchise. Failure to meet these cleanliness standards could result in consequences as outlined in the franchise agreement.
The System Standards extend beyond just cleanliness, also encompassing aspects like appearance, business metrics, customer service, design, equipment, inventory, marketing, operating hours, presentation of marks, product and service offerings, quality, reporting, safety, technology, uniforms, and vehicles. This comprehensive approach ensures consistency and quality across all Chocolate Bash locations.
