What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Chocolate Bash Franchise Disclosure Document, before opening a Chocolate Bash franchise, the franchisee's Principal Executive and up to two additional employees must complete the standard pre-opening training program. This training is provided by Chocolate Bash at their headquarters or a designated Chocolate Bash business location.
Chocolate Bash does not charge a fee for this pre-opening training. However, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, lodging, meals, and other out-of-pocket expenses incurred by themselves and their employees while attending the training. Chocolate Bash retains the right to modify the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending.
This pre-opening training is a crucial step for ensuring that the franchisee and their staff are well-prepared to operate the Chocolate Bash business according to the franchisor's standards and procedures. By requiring this training, Chocolate Bash aims to maintain consistency and quality across all franchise locations. Franchisees should factor in the costs associated with travel, accommodation, and meals when budgeting for the initial investment in the franchise.
