What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chocolate Bash's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee's right to develop additional Chocolate Bash franchises after their first store is contingent upon meeting specific conditions. One key condition is that the franchisee must be in full compliance with all brand requirements at their already-open Chocolate Bash businesses.
This means that to be eligible to develop and open more Chocolate Bash locations, a franchisee must ensure that their existing stores adhere to all standards and guidelines set by Chocolate Bash. These requirements likely cover various aspects of the business, including store appearance, product quality, customer service, and operational procedures.
Furthermore, the franchisee must not be in default under any Franchise Agreement or any other agreement with CB Franchising. This implies that any violations of the franchise agreement or other agreements, such as failure to pay fees or meet performance standards, could prevent the franchisee from expanding their Chocolate Bash business. Therefore, maintaining compliance is crucial for franchisees looking to grow their Chocolate Bash footprint.
