What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are no restrictions regarding the customers to whom a franchisee may sell goods or services. Chicken Guy does not limit who a franchisee can sell to. However, the franchisee must operate the restaurant solely as a Chicken Guy! location and offer for sale only those products and services expressly authorized by Chicken Guy in their manual or in writing. Chicken Guy can also restrict sales of menu items to certain times of the day.

Chicken Guy retains the right to change menu items, ingredients, products, materials, supplies, and paper goods, and there are no limits to their ability to do so. Franchisees must start selling any newly authorized menu items and stop selling any menu items that are no longer authorized within 30 days of receiving written notice from Chicken Guy.

This means that while a Chicken Guy franchisee can sell to any customer, they must adhere strictly to the brand's standards regarding the menu and operational procedures. This ensures consistency across all Chicken Guy locations and maintains brand identity.
