Who is required to attend the initial manager training program for a Chicken Guy franchise?

Chicken_Guy Franchise · 2025 FDD

Answer from 2025 FDD Document

This initial manager training program is mandatory for all franchisees.

At least 45 days prior to opening your Franchised Restaurant, we will provide to you (or your Operating Principal) and up to two managers designated by you an initial manager training program in the operation of a Chicken Guy! Restaurant at those times and those places that we designate.

After you open the Franchised Restaurant, any employee of yours who assumes any management position must, within 30 days after assuming such position, attend the initial manager training program and become certified for that position.

We will not authorize your Franchised Restaurant to open until an adequate number of your managers (as determined by us during the construction phase in our sole discretion based on the size of your Franchised Restaurant and the planned hours of operation) have attended, successfully completed and been "Certified" in the initial manager training program.

We have the right to require that you (or your Operating Principal), your restaurant managers, and any other employees that we designate take and successfully complete other training courses in addition to the initial manager training program.

You will be required to pay all travel, living, food and other incidental expenses incurred by you and your employees while attending any training program.

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial manager training program is mandatory for all franchisees. This training must occur at least 45 days before the restaurant opens.

After the restaurant opens, any employee who takes on a management position must attend the training program and become certified within 30 days of starting their new role. Chicken Guy may also require the franchisee (or their Operating Principal), restaurant managers, and any other employees they designate to take and successfully complete additional training courses beyond the initial program.
