What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chicken Guy has the authority to designate the form and content of a franchisee's website. Chicken Guy can also mandate that the website be hosted by Chicken Guy itself or by a third party that Chicken Guy designates. This may involve using one or more websites that Chicken Guy owns or controls.

This requirement means that as a prospective franchisee, you might not have complete control over your website's design, content, or hosting. Chicken Guy retains the right to ensure that your online presence aligns with their brand standards and marketing strategies. This is a fairly common practice in franchising, as franchisors aim to maintain a consistent brand image across all locations.

Additionally, Chicken Guy may require franchisees to establish hyperlinks to Chicken Guy's main website or another website that Chicken Guy specifies. This could be a way for Chicken Guy to drive traffic to their corporate site or to promote specific campaigns or initiatives. Franchisees should factor in potential costs associated with website development, review, approval, and hosting, as Chicken Guy may charge fees for these services.
