What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after the franchise restaurant opens, any employee who assumes a management position must attend the initial manager training program within 30 days of starting that position. This training is provided by Chicken Guy, unless the franchisee operates a restaurant that has been certified as a Certified Training Restaurant (CTR).

This means that franchisees need to ensure any new managers are trained and certified promptly to maintain compliance with Chicken Guy's standards. If a franchisee operates multiple locations and has a certified training restaurant, they can conduct the training themselves; otherwise, Chicken Guy provides the training.

Franchisees should factor in the costs associated with this ongoing training, including travel, living, and food expenses for their employees. Furthermore, Chicken Guy retains the right to require additional training courses for the franchisee, operating principal, restaurant manager, or any other designated employees, potentially incurring further tuition fees.
