What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Opening Deadline' is the date specified in the attached Data Sheet. Franchisees must ensure the restaurant is fully furnished, equipped, and ready to open for business by this date, as stated in Item 22 of the FDD.

Chicken Guy may extend the Opening Deadline if delays occur due to events constituting Force Majeure, which includes acts of God, strikes, war, riots, epidemics, fires, governmental actions, or other causes beyond the franchisee's control. If such events delay the commencement of construction, Chicken Guy will proportionately extend the deadline.

Failure to open the Franchised Restaurant by the Opening Deadline, without an approved extension, can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement. Therefore, it is crucial for prospective Chicken Guy franchisees to carefully review the Data Sheet attached to the Franchise Agreement to understand their specific Opening Deadline and to proactively manage construction and preparation to meet this critical milestone.
