System Modifications.** Chicken Guy, in its sole discretion, shall be entitled from time to time to change or modify the System, including modifications to the Manual, the menu and menu formats, the required equipment, the signage, the building and premises of the Franchised Restaurant (including the trade dress, décor and color schemes), the presentation of the Proprietary Marks, the adoption of new administrative forms and methods of reporting and of payment of any monies owed to Chicken Guy (including electronic means of reporting and payment) and the adoption and use of new or modified Proprietary Marks or copyrighted materials.

According to the 2025 Chicken Guy Franchise Disclosure Document, Chicken Guy has the authority to modify the System, including the Manual and copyrighted materials. If there is a dispute about the Manual's contents, the master copy maintained by Chicken Guy will be the controlling document.
Furthermore, franchisees are expected to accept and implement any changes or modifications to the System as if they were part of the original agreement. This may also require franchisees to make expenditures to accommodate these changes. Chicken Guy can also mandate the addition of memory, ports, accessories, or new software to the original technology system, or even require a complete replacement or upgrade of the technology system. This ensures operational efficiency and communication capability between Chicken Guy's computers and those of all Chicken Guy restaurants.
