We require a minimum of one certified manager for each Franchised Restaurant. We will not authorize your Franchised Restaurant to open until an adequate number of your managers (as determined by us during the construction phase in our sole discretion based on the size of your Franchised Restaurant and the planned hours of operation) have attended, successfully completed and been "Certified" in the initial manager training program.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must have a minimum of one certified manager for each franchised restaurant. Chicken Guy will not authorize a restaurant to open until an adequate number of managers, determined by Chicken Guy based on the restaurant's size and planned hours of operation, have successfully completed the initial manager training program and become certified.
This initial manager training program is mandatory, and upon completion of the program, the franchisee and their designated employees will take an exam. Those who successfully complete the exam will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion" and will be "Certified" to operate the franchised restaurant.
After the restaurant opens, any employee who assumes a management position must attend the initial manager training program and become certified within 30 days of assuming the position. This ensures that all managers are trained to Chicken Guy's standards, maintaining consistency across all franchise locations.
