What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial manager training program is managed by the Director of Operations, Ronnie Sammons. The training program also includes other trainers.
The initial manager training program is mandatory for all franchisees and their managers. The program is designed to share the brand's operating standards to protect the Chicken Guy system and trademarks. The program includes classroom instruction, on-the-job training at a company-operated Chicken Guy restaurant, and an exam.
Franchisees and their designated managers must attend the training program at least 45 days prior to opening their restaurant. Upon successful completion of the program and exam, participants receive a "Certificate of Completion" and are certified to operate the franchised restaurant. Chicken Guy requires a minimum of one certified manager for each franchised location and will not authorize a restaurant to open until an adequate number of managers have been certified.
The FDD also lists other trainers, including Cassie Montoro (Training and NRO Manager) and Eric Harris (General Manager and NRO Training Leader).
