What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after Chicken Guy receives a franchisee's request for training, Chicken Guy will arrive at the franchised restaurant to conduct training no later than 30 days after receiving the request. Chicken Guy also states that they will schedule and coordinate the arrival of their personnel for training as soon as reasonably possible after receiving the franchisee's request.

However, Chicken Guy may delay the scheduled arrival of its employees if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the franchised restaurant building is not safe or ready to begin training. If the team member training date or the opening date is postponed or delayed for any reason, the franchisee is responsible for promptly reimbursing Chicken Guy for any additional costs and expenses incurred as a direct result, including salaries and wages for Chicken Guy's trainers during the delay.

For franchisees, this means that while Chicken Guy aims to provide training support promptly, the actual arrival date can vary based on restaurant readiness and unforeseen delays. Franchisees need to factor in potential delays and associated costs when planning the restaurant opening and budget. It is important to maintain open communication with Chicken Guy regarding the restaurant's readiness to avoid any delays and additional expenses.
