What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Chicken Guy Franchise Disclosure Document, if Chicken Guy elects to register and own a domain name or other electronic identifiers for a franchisee, the franchisee will receive all administrative access to those identifiers. This means the franchisee has control over the settings and management of the domain.

The franchisee is then solely responsible for the development, creation, and maintenance of the content on the website or other electronic identifier, ensuring it aligns with Chicken Guy's standards. This includes creating the actual text, images, and other media that appear on the site. The franchisee must adhere to Section 15 of the franchise agreement regarding content.

Furthermore, the franchisee is required to reimburse Chicken Guy for all out-of-pocket costs and expenses that Chicken Guy incurs for registering or renewing the electronic identifier. This reimbursement is due immediately upon the franchisee receiving an invoice from Chicken Guy. This arrangement allows Chicken Guy to maintain ownership and control over the domain while granting the franchisee the necessary access to manage their online presence, subject to brand standards and financial responsibility for registration costs.
