What happens after completing the initial manager training program for a Chicken Guy franchise?
Chicken_Guy Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Upon completion of the initial manager training program, you and your designated employees who attend the initial manager training program will take an exam, upon successful completion of which a "Certificate of Completion" will be awarded to each applicable individual, and you will be "Certified" to operate the Franchised Restaurant. We require a minimum of one certified manager for each Franchised Restaurant. We will not authorize your Franchised Restaurant to open until an adequate number of your managers (as determined by us during the construction phase in our sole discretion based on the size of your Franchised Restaurant and the planned hours of operation) have attended, successfully completed and been "Certified" in the initial manager training program. We will notify you of your trainee's certification status at the end of the initial manager training program.
After you open the Franchised Restaurant, any employee of yours who assumes any management position must, within 30 days after assuming such position, attend the initial manager training program and become certified for that position.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Chicken Guy Franchise Disclosure Document, upon completion of the initial manager training program, the franchisee and their designated employees will take an exam. If they successfully complete the exam, they will be awarded a "Certificate of Completion". The franchisee will then be "Certified" to operate the franchised restaurant.
Chicken Guy requires a minimum of one certified manager for each franchised restaurant. The franchisor will not authorize the franchised restaurant to open until an adequate number of managers, determined by Chicken Guy during the construction phase based on the restaurant's size and planned hours of operation, have attended, successfully completed, and been "Certified" in the initial manager training program. The franchisee will be notified of their trainee's certification status at the end of the initial manager training program.
Furthermore, after the Chicken Guy restaurant opens, any employee who assumes a management position must attend the initial manager training program and become certified within 30 days of assuming that position. This ensures that all managers are trained to Chicken Guy's standards, maintaining consistency across all franchise locations. The initial manager training program is designed to share the brand's operating standards and protect the Chicken Guy system and proprietary marks.
