What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to participate in the online ordering system if one is established by Chicken Guy. The franchisee must adhere to the terms and conditions specified in the manual and pay the fees associated with the online ordering system, as determined reasonably by Chicken Guy or its vendor.
This requirement ensures that all Chicken Guy locations can offer online ordering, maintaining brand consistency and potentially increasing sales through digital channels. It also allows Chicken Guy to control the online ordering experience and collect data to improve the system.
The franchisee bears the cost of participating in the online ordering system, including any fees charged by Chicken Guy or its vendor. This could impact the franchisee's profitability, especially if the fees are high or the online ordering system is not successful in generating additional revenue. Franchisees should inquire about the specifics of these fees and the expected benefits of the online ordering system during their due diligence.
