What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to accept and use any changes or modifications to the Chicken Guy system. These modifications are treated as if they were part of the original agreement. This includes changes to the manual, menu, equipment, signage, building design, and even the brand's presentation.

Chicken Guy retains the sole discretion to change or modify the system. This extends to adopting new administrative forms, methods for reporting, payment processes, and even using new or modified proprietary marks or copyrighted materials. Franchisees must also comply with modifications to the Manual, which contains the standards for operating the franchised restaurant.

Furthermore, Chicken Guy franchisees are expected to make the expenditures that these changes or modifications reasonably require. This could involve purchasing new equipment, upgrading software, or renovating the restaurant to conform to the updated image of the system. Franchisees are also responsible for keeping their technology systems up-to-date and compatible with Chicken Guy's systems, including making necessary additions, changes, or replacements as directed by Chicken Guy.
