on.

You can buy a franchise to develop and operate one franchised Chicken Guy! Restaurant ("Franchised Restaurant") at a site approved by us ("Franchised Location") by signing a Franchise Agreement (Exhibit E) and paying the Initial Franchise Fee. You may not acquire any interest in a site for

the Franchised Restaurant until you have been approved as a franchisee and we have approved the site in writing. If you and the area in which you are interested meet certain qualifications, you can buy the rights to develop one or more Franchised Restaurants within a geographic area ("Development Territory") by signing a Development Agreement (Exhibit D) and paying the Development Fee. You must agree to develop at least one Chicken Guy!

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Chicken Guy FDD, Exhibit E is the Franchise Agreement. The FDD states that to develop and operate a Chicken Guy restaurant, a prospective franchisee must sign a Franchise Agreement, which is included as Exhibit E in the FDD, and pay the initial franchise fee.

Notably, the FDD mentions that the Franchise Agreement included as Exhibit E may not be the same version that a developer signs if they are developing a franchised restaurant under a Development Agreement. In that case, the franchisee will sign the then-current form of the Franchise Agreement within 90 days after the franchisor approves the site for the restaurant.

For franchisees interested in operating a Chicken Guy restaurant at a Nontraditional Location, such as an airport or stadium, they will also sign the Franchise Agreement (Exhibit E) after the site is approved. In addition to the Franchise Agreement, these franchisees will sign an Addendum to Franchise Agreement for a Nontraditional Location, which is included as Exhibit F.
