What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Chicken Guy Franchise Disclosure Document, Chicken Guy has the option to register and own domain names or other electronic identifiers intended for a franchisee's restaurant. If Chicken Guy chooses to do so, they will notify the franchisee.

While Chicken Guy may own the domain, the franchisee is responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining the content on the website. This ensures the franchisee has control over their online presence while adhering to Chicken Guy's brand standards.

The franchisee is also required to reimburse Chicken Guy for any out-of-pocket expenses related to the registration or renewal of the domain name. This reimbursement is due immediately upon the franchisee receiving an invoice from Chicken Guy. This arrangement allows Chicken Guy to maintain control over the brand's online identity while ensuring franchisees have an online presence.
