What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Chicken Guy Franchise Disclosure Document, Chicken Guy may charge franchisees a fee for developing, reviewing, and approving the franchisee's website, and/or for hosting the website.

Chicken Guy also has the option to register and own any domain names or other electronic identifiers intended for the franchisee's use in connection with their franchised restaurant. If Chicken Guy elects to do so, they will provide the franchisee with administrative access to these identifiers. The franchisee will then be responsible for content development, creation, and maintenance, and must reimburse Chicken Guy for all out-of-pocket costs and expenses incurred in registering or renewing any electronic identifier upon receiving an invoice.

This means that a prospective Chicken Guy franchisee should be prepared to potentially pay fees related to their website, either for Chicken Guy's assistance in development and hosting or for reimbursement of costs associated with domain name registration and renewal. It is important for franchisees to factor these potential costs into their overall investment and operating budget.
