Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Neither we nor any of our affiliates are currently designated or approved suppliers of any products.

Our standards and specifications for Chicken Guy! Restaurants are contained in the Manual. A list of approved suppliers is available upon written request. We estimate that the purchase of products that are subject to our standards and specifications represents approximately 100% of your overall purchases in establishing and operating the Franchised Restaurant. We do not provide material benefits to our franchisees (such as renewal or granting additional franchises) based on their purchase of particular products or services or based on their use of a particular supplier.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chicken Guy's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, neither Chicken Guy nor its affiliates are currently designated or approved suppliers of any products. However, Chicken Guy has the right to require franchisees to purchase proprietary food products from designated suppliers and other goods, food products, ingredients, and supplies from approved suppliers. Chicken Guy may modify the lists of approved brands, designated suppliers, and approved suppliers, and franchisees must comply with these modifications.

If a franchisee wants to purchase goods or materials from a supplier not already approved, they must submit a written request for approval, or have the supplier do so. Chicken Guy may require inspections of the supplier's facilities and testing of products, with the franchisee potentially bearing the costs of these reviews and audits. Chicken Guy will notify the franchisee within 60 days of the request whether the supplier is approved.

Chicken Guy estimates that 100% of a franchisee's overall purchases will be subject to their standards and specifications. While Chicken Guy does not offer material benefits to franchisees based on their choice of suppliers, they do have a contract with Coca-Cola, making Coke the exclusive fountain beverage and lemonade supplier. Chicken Guy receives $3.50 for each gallon of fountain syrup purchased for marketing activities and $0.60 for each gallon for various other funds.
